Fantastický úspěch Aničky Ledahudcové: Třetí místo v republice!

Studenti často žijí s představou, že nebudou nikdy dost dobří. Nicméně v pondělí 22. května 2017 vyšla „naše“  hvězda a dokázala, že se vyrovná těm nejlepším v České republice. Anička Ledahudcová ze sexty totiž reprezentovala naši školu v celostátním kole Soutěže v cizích jazycích a získala 3. místo v bilingvní kategorii 3B - angličtina.

Soutěž se konala v Pražském sídle NIDV (Národní institut pro další vzdělávání) a výsledky byly zveřejněny později téhož dne na britské ambasádě, kde jsme byli mile přivítáni a užili si odpoledne prozkoumáváním ambasády a jejích krásných zahrad umístěných pod hradebními zdmi.

Anička se ten den nevrátila domů jen s diplomem, ale také s novým sebevědomím, že snad - přece jen snad - cokoliv je možné.

Students often walk around with these pre-conceived notions in their head that they’ll never be good enough. But on Monday, a star shone through and proved capable of competing with the best in the Czech Republic. Annie Ledahudcové represented our school and achieved 3rd place in bilingual category 3B. English-language. The competition took place in Prague at the headquarters of NIDV, the results were announced later in the day at the British embassy, where we were made most welcome and enjoyed the afternoon exploring the embassy and it's beautiful gardens situated below the castle walls. Annie went home that day with more than just a certificate but with the newfound confidence that maybe, just maybe, anything is possible.
